Type: Pulle 1025 a (syn L); 1026 (syn BO; isosyn L)

Stems elongated, rooting in the basal part, strongly branched above, terete, to 45 cm long, in the basal part to 0.2 cm diam., branches erect-patent, fairly short, thin, internodes to 1.3-1.75 cm long, on the branches 0.2-0.25 cm long. Leaves very small, erect-patent, very thick, carnose, subterete, narrowed towards the apex, obtuse, base abruptly contracted into a very short, dorsally compressed, channelled, 0.05-0.1 cm long petiole, without petiole 0.4-0.9 by 0.15-0.2 cm; sheaths tubular, strongly warty, at the apex appressed setose-ciliate, ciliae slightly curved or almost straight, conical-finely warty, to 0.12 cm long. Inflorescences nodding, 1-flowered. Spathe short, covering the apex of the spur, broadly cucullate, at the apex slightly incurved and conduplicate, subacute, with one dorsally prominent nerve, membranous, when flattened broadly ovate-semi-elliptic, 0.46 by 0.5 cm. Floral bract larger, clasping the basal part of the ovary, cucullate, suborbicular, slightly apiculate, 1-nerved, 0.58 cm long. Flower 0.95 cm diam. Median sepal subelliptic-oblong, obtuse, shortly obtuse conical-apiculate, 3-nerved, 0.57 by almost 0.3 cm. Lateral sepals obliquely ovate, pointed, conical-apiculate, slightly narrowed at the base, 3-nerved at the base, 0.57 by 0.33 cm. Petals sublinear, slightly narrowed in the apical part, obtuse, 2-nerved at the base, 0.53 by 0.13 cm. Lip at the base shortly adnate to the column, short, not surpassing the column, concave, making an obtuse angle with the spur, when not flattened to the apex of the ovary 0.38 cm long, to the apex of the spur 0.88 cm long, blade when flattened broadly semiorbicular-triangular, at the apex obtusely angled, on either side rounded, at the base truncate, inside in the basal part with a transverse cross-ridge, c. 9-nerved, 0.33 by 0.63 cm; spur large, appressed to the ovary and equally long, oblong, subcylindrical, especially above slightly dorsally compressed, at the apex slightly recurved, obtuse, in front longitudinally grooved, 0.65 cm long, slightly over 0.2 cm wide. Column very short, dorsally convex, in the basal part of the clinandrium slightly constricted, 0.18 cm long; clinandrium deeply concave, dentate, auricles triangular or almost bidentate. Rostellum porrect, truncate, in the apical part obtusely angled convex. (After Smith, 1915).
