Type: Keysser 77 (holo B, lost)

Almost stemless; roots elongated, flattened, glabrous, 0.4 cm wide, minutely papillose. Inflorescence erect, 15 cm long; peduncle slender, terete, brown-pilose. Rachis distichous, laxly several-flowered, 4.5 cm long. Floral bracts ovate, subobtuse, patent, 0.3 cm long, 0.2 cm wide. Flowers patent-erect. Median sepal ovate-oblong, 0.5 by 0.18 cm. Lateral sepals linear-oblong, somewhat oblique, 0.48 cm long, O.3 cm wide, outside entirely covered with conical appressed warts. Petals suborbicular-ovate, 0.4 cm long, 0.3 cm wide. Lip 3-lobed, blade 0.3 cm long, 0.28 cm wide; lateral lobes rounded; mid-lobe small, suborbicular, obtuse, 0.08 cm long, 0.12 cm wide; spur 1 cm long, from the middle towards the apex dilated. Ovary and pedicel 0.9 cm long, brown-pilose. (After Mansfeld, 1929)

Colours: Not recorded.

Habitat: Not known; 3000 m (altitude doubtful - many plants from Keysser's collection seem to have been routinely labelled as originating from 3000 m while in all probabilty they were collected at much lower elevations).

Flowering time in the wild: Not known.

Distribution: Malesia (New Guinea).
