Epiphytic, leafless, small; roots flattened, strongly flexuose, to 15 cm long, c. 0.1 cm wide. Inflorescences distichous, densely 5-10-flowered, rachis gradually elongating; including the hair-like peduncle 1-1.5 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, minute, shorter than the ovary. Flowers minute, glabrous, opening in succession. Sepals oblong, obtuse, minutely apiculate, 0.2 cm long. Lateral sepals obtuse. Petals obliquely oblong, obtuse, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip orbicular, apiculate, as long as the petals, spur ellipsoid, obtuse, at the apex slightly curved, a little shorter than the lip-blade. Column very short, glabrous. Anther reniform-cucullate, apiculate; pollinia obliquely obovoid; stipe twice as long as the pollinia, at the base slender, oblanceolate; viscidium minute, lanceolate, dorsally acute. Colours: Flowers golden yellow.

Habitat: Epiphyte in lowland forest; 250 m.

Flowering time in the wild: August.
