Plant small; stem short; roots subterete, flattened underneath, 8.5 cm long, 0.15 cm diam. Inflorescences several (c. 7), seemingly fascicled, erect, very short, to c. 13-flowered, 1 cm long; peduncle short. Floral bracts distichous, patent, half clasping the rachis, triangular, acuminate, acute, concave, dorsally keeled in the apical part, warty, 0.23-0.24 cm long. Flowers opening in succession, small. Median sepal ovate-oblong, subacuminate, with obtuse tip, concave, dorsally keeled and especially near the apex verrucose, 3-nerved. Lateral sepals obliquely ovate-oblong, acuminate, concave, at the apex conduplicate, strongly keeled, at the apex erose, dorsally especially on the keel verrucose, 3-nerved, 0.46 by 0.17 cm. Petals linear, slightly falcate, obtuse, concave, densely verrucose-keeled, 1-nerved, 0.43 cm long, 0.07 cm wide. Lip spurred, in total 0.55 cm long; spur pointing backwards, in 2/5 above the base obtusely and lightly decurved, at the base constricted, ovoid, slightly dorsally flattened, broadly obtuse, in front with longitudinal grooves, 5-ribbed, 0.3 cm long, 0.2 cm diam.; blade slightly surpassing the column, fleshy, when not flattened oblong, obtuse, flattened underneath and keeled on either side, with erect, thin margins that are narrowed and incurved towards the apex, inside papillose, 0.3 by 0.1 cm, when flattened in outline subovate, 0.23 cm wide. Column 0.33 cm long; clinandrium concave; rostellum strongly produced, bifid, acute. Anther long, lanceolate, obtuse, membranous, 0.33 cm long; pollinia 4, unequal, 2 subglobose, 2 shortly pear-shaped, all grooved, 0.08 cm diam.; stipe long, spathulate, 0.3 cm long, dilated part angular-suborbicular. Ovary 6-grooved, especially in the grooves minutely covered with scale-hairs, 0.45 cm long. (After Smith, 1911)
